Wood Thumb Pop-Up Shop - Friday and Saturday June 7th and 8th

 

ARCH is proud to present a Pop-Up Shop from Wood Thumb on Friday and Saturday June 7th and 8th. There will be an in-store reception on Friday from 5-8pm and a Pop-Up Shop on Saturday from 12-5pm. Wood Thumb designs and produces high-quality wooden products including bowties, neckties, clutch purses and even a wooden 6-pack carrier!

Saturday June 1st: FREE Golden Acrylics Demo with Tesia Blackburn

ARCH will be hosting another FREE Demo of Golden Acrylic Products with Tesia Blackburn on Saturday, June 1 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.    

This lecture packs in a ton of valuable information about acrylics, guiding listeners through the basics while opening up new possibilities. Learn the unique properties of Fluids, Heavy Body, and the OPEN acrylics. Discover Interference and Iridescent paints for unusual effects.

Shasta Garcia Brings Her Wrapping Skills to ARCH! Local Designer Pop-Up Shop!

ARCH is proud to present the third participant in our Pop-Up Shop Series, Shasta Garcia of the popular blog Shastablasta Wraps Presents Well. Shasta Garcia is a local graphic designer who specializes in unique gift wrapping and crafts and was recently a finalist in the 2012 Scotch Most Gifted Wrapper Contest in New York City.

 

Friday May 10th from 5-7pm, Shasta will be selling her handcrafted amusements for cats and humans. Come check out her latest creations at the reception for this pop-up event. She will be debuting a couple of letterpress projects and some paper goods created just for this weekend event.

Shasta's pop-up will continue Saturday May 11th from 12-5pm. If you're all thumbs when wrapping, she'll be available to show you the basics, tying an elegant bow, or making a quick fanciful gift topper. If you want your Mother's Day gift wrapped you can work with her to pick out some wrapping supplies from Arch and have her wrap it up. Free supplies will also be available to make a personalized gift tag.

Snail Mail Social - Friday, May 3rd 5 - 8pm

ARCH will be hosting another Snail Mail Social on May 3rd from 5-8 PM. The event will be hosted by our good friends Carolee Wheeler and Annie Yu.

We'll have vintage typewriters, custom stationery and all sorts of embellishments to encourage you to get out from behind the computer screen and send a letter. If you missed the last one, we hope you'll join us! Click here to see all the fun we had last time!

  

Finals Time! - Extended Hours, Model Making Materials and Tools, FREE COFFEE! Presentation and Hanging Supplies, all at ARCH!

It's hard to believe, but finals time has arrived and we are at the ready with the supplies, some inspiration and fuel to keep you going through these late nights.

We'll be extending our store hours throughout the work week beginning Monday April 29th through May 10th. Store hours will be as follows;

Monday thru Friday 9am - 8pm
Saturday 12pm - 5pm
Sunday Closed

We have stocked up on;

• Plastic sheets, strips, shapes and tubes
• Adhesives
• Wire hangers and rare earth magnets

Did you know we also have work tables, paper trimmers and a wall mounted board cutter for use here in-store?
