We like to think of The ARCH POPUP at 2349 3rd Street as a "Mini ARCH" where we have a choice selection of watercolor, calligraphy, drawing and drafting supplies and tools. Here you will find our entire selection of decorative papers and stationery and an awesome assortment of pens, pencils, trace rolls, 1000H, clips, pins and so much more.

Saturday April 5th - FREE Pentel Brush Pen Demo with Chris Koehler 1-3pm

California College of The Arts Faculty member Chris Koehler will be presenting a Pentel Brush Pen demo at ARCH. Join us to learn tips and techniques for using this popular product in a variety of ways. For more about Chris, visit his website.

Chris Koehler is an artist and illustrator working out of San Francisco. His work has appeared in Popular Science, Utne Reader, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Wired, The Boston Globe, OnEarth Magazine, Stanford Magazine, and SF Weekly, among others. Chris also teaches in the illustration department at California College of the Arts and regularly shows in galleries.

Black Velvet Brushes Have Arrived at ARCH

ARCH now stocks Silver Brush Black Velvet watercolor brushes. This amazingly versatile line of brushes has brush shapes of all kinds including striper liners and amazingly absorbent mop rounds and oval mops. These brushes hold their shape beautifully and offer a precisely controlled stroke.

The bristles are a mix of synthetic fiber and squirrel hair, which provide a springy feel with watercolor, inks, acrylic and gouache. Come into the store and try them out. ARCH offers these and other great brushes at 40% OFF the list price everyday.

It's Back-To-School time again here at ARCH! We will be open until 8PM Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday September 3-5 to help you find everything on your shopping list. We have a large selection of materials you can't find anywhere else, including model-making supplies and we offer a 10% Student and Faculty discount on supplies.
